My experience was great! I cook Mexican food on a daily basis back at home (Wisconsin USA). I was pleasantly surprised with their food. A true hidden Mexican gem restaurant found in Germany! Yay!

What a gem in Kaufering! Cantina is such a cozy place with a wonderful atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious – fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was spot on. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. You can really feel the love and passion that goes into this restaurant. We felt so welcome, enjoyed every moment, and will definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Great ambience and music. Friendly service. Lots of room. The food was quite good although not what I know as Mexican food (I'm from the US). I ordered beef and chicken fajitas. As I said, it was good but the meat was served atop a tomato sauce with aubergine, green beans and corn (can't remember eating peppers). No onions. The guacamole had some sort of dairy product in it and no tomatoes, garlic or onions. There were lots of little flour tortillas but unfortunately no space to roll the fajitas. My husband (he's German) had a mixed platter, which he really enjoyed. I noticed that his "enchilada" was crispy and toasted on a bed of sauce. Overall tasty but just not what one might expect!
